Springfield Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Attempted Armed Robbery

SPRINGFIELD, MO. — Greene County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Patterson announced today that Nicholas Taylor Gardner, 35, of Springfield, was sentenced to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections following his guilty plea to attempted robbery in the first degree and resisting arrest.
On January 23, 2026, Gardner pleaded guilty in Greene County Circuit Court to one count of attempted robbery in the first degree, a class B felony, and one count of resisting arrest for a felony, a class E felony. Judge Todd Myers accepted the plea and sentenced Gardner to 10 years on the robbery charge and 5 years on the resisting arrest charge, to run concurrently with probation denied
